Alba represented Argentina in the Asian VC and Private Equity Tour

Alba Capital Partners represented the Private Equity Industry as part of the Argentine delegation that visited China and Korea.

The delegation included ARCAP representatives, the Argentine Government through the Agencia Argentina de Inversiones and VC funds. The purpose of the mission was to expand VC and PE horizons and develop relationships with major investors in China and South Korea.

The delegation held 3 major events hosting more than 30 PE and VC funds and institutions. ARCAP and Alba outlined the local VC and PE ecosystem, and held one on one meetings with Chinese and Korean counterparts. The initiative was supported by the Argentine Government with participation from the Agencia Argentina de Inversiones, the Chinese and Korean embassies and Banco de la Nación Argentina in Beijing. Highlights of the presentation included the current industry situation and investment opportunities which include more than USD 270 Bn in diverse sectors.
